Parents, teachers, preachers and politicians, have criticized and in some cases even banned digital games. Electronic games have been blamed for insufficient scores, inadequate behavior and even illness. If you listen long enough, digital games are responsible for all the problems our teenagers experience today.

People have been trying to play games on computer systems almost since the first computer days. In the early 1950s, Claude Shannon, a mathematician and engineer, believed that computer systems could be programmed to perform chess in competition with humans. He became interested in the concept of artificial intelligence. In pursuit of this idea researchers and scientists designed a gruff game that could be played on large and awkward computer systems in the 1950s and 1960s.
The first actual digital games as consumer products were built as coin-operated video arcade games in the early 1970s. In 1971 Nolan Bushnell, Ted Dabney and Al Alcorn founded the first activity organization, Atari. Soon after, they created their first gaming system and their first digital activity, Pong, as a video arcade activity. Pong succeeded immediately.

This success led Atari and other companies to start working on home video games that could be linked to a tv set. Atari released its first home game system in 1977. Soon the game was put on a cartridge that could be changed to the liking of the gamer.
In 1979, the organization, Activision, was founded by a former Atari activity designer. The aim of the new organization was to focus strictly on activities. They decided to leave developing equipment for doing digital games to other individuals. It is the first organization to build a business developing and selling digital gaming applications.
Within a few months, activity organizations sprang up trying to develop applications for the digital baby activity market. The result is that less understood gaming greed is hitting the market. Consumers turned in droves and the digital property activity market faded into the slippage.
Initially, digital games were being developed for PCS. The color design, flexible storage capacity and general objective processor make gaming much easier on PCs. The gaming system business is all dead.
At the end of the Beginning, two Japanese organizations came up with a new video game technology that was technologically capable of handling the new digital games being created. These organizations are Producers and Sega. This video game has design capabilities that exceed most pcs. Manufacturers also offer a feature that allows the game system to record experience steps so that a gamer can pause the activity title size.
Right behind the Manufacturers comes the Game Boy, a handheld gaming system. Game controllers enjoyed a resurgence in popularity during the 1990s. A new, more advanced technology than digital gaming was introduced in 2001. These controllers include the Playstation2 and Xbox.
